About the role

CHAS Health is seeking a Maintenance I to support the safe and efficient operation of its healthcare facilities. The role focuses on general maintenance, repairs, and preventative upkeep to ensure a comfortable environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and condition of parking areas, patios, seating zones, and walkways.
• Diagnose, repair, install, and perform preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Assist with clinic updates and repairs as needed.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and provide after‑hours support when required.
• Manage facility security by updating access codes and key cards as directed.
• Support vaccine transportation and monitoring, ensuring proper handling, temperature control, and documentation.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• Ability to work on‑call and respond to after‑hours maintenance needs.
• Physical capability to perform manual tasks and lift equipment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe environment.

Required skills

• General building systems maintenance and repair.
• Preventative maintenance procedures.
