Maintenance Engineer – Manufacturing (Team B)

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our manufacturing team (Team B) on the shift. The role is responsible for ensuring the reliability and availability of all plant equipment through effective breakdown, preventive, predictive and annual maintenance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform breakdown maintenance and guarantee machine/equipment availability.
• Execute preventive, predictive and annual maintenance according to the schedule.
• Carry out electrical installation, testing and maintenance on major power system equipment.
• Commission, calibrate and troubleshoot field instruments and PID control systems.
• Diagnose and resolve PLC, HMI and drive issues.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis to improve process efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Inspect panel rooms, control rooms, control panels, battery chargers, transformers and related equipment.
• Manage spare parts inventory and handle utility equipment.
• Apply safety protocols such as LOTO, electrical safety and work‑at‑height procedures.
• Ensure compliance with Saint‑Gobain standards, EHS and WCM processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in electrical operations, installation, testing and maintenance of industrial power systems.
• Hands‑on experience with field instrumentation, PID control, PLC troubleshooting, HMI and drives.
• Strong ability to perform root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Familiarity with spare‑parts management and utility equipment handling.
• Knowledge of safety procedures including LOTO, electrical safety and working at height.
