Maintenance Engineer – Manufacturing

About the role

The Maintenance Engineer will ensure reliable operation of manufacturing equipment at Siemens' Aurangabad plant. You will lead a team, coordinate maintenance activities, and drive continuous improvement to meet performance and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to maintenance processes and performance standards.
• Plan resources, schedule and execute routine maintenance projects for semi‑plant equipment.
• Dismantle, repair, assemble, install and set up technical equipment and machines.
• Analyze machine functionality, recommend rebuild or replacement parts, and develop preventive/predictive maintenance plans.
• Maintain technical documentation and support industrial engineers on installation projects.
• Utilize CMMS to review maintenance data and apply problem‑solving tools to identify root causes.
• Lead and coordinate cross‑functional teams, enforce plant and corporate safety policies.
• Cross‑train and supplement maintenance supervision as needed.

Required profile

• ITI Electrical or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering.
• 8‑10 years of experience in low‑voltage product manufacturing and automation maintenance.
• Hands‑on experience with special‑purpose machines and lean production systems.
• Familiarity with CMMS, TPM/Reliability Centered Maintenance concepts, and EHS safety standards.
• Proven ability to lead teams, communicate effectively and drive continuous‑improvement projects.
