Maintenance Engineer

About the role

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of critical industrial equipment. This role involves daily monitoring, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of CNC machines, welding equipment, and auxiliary systems within a chemical process environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of machine breakdowns and daily maintenance activities.
• Plan material requirements and generate spare parts lists for critical machines.
• Update and maintain equipment data and maintenance logs.
• Diagnose and resolve CNC machine issues.
• Apply metal and plastic welding techniques as needed.
• Support the chemical process line by ensuring equipment readiness.
• Provide knowledge on gear boxes, pumps, and blowers for effective maintenance.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on AC and chiller systems.
• Utilize basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.

Required profile

• Experience in industrial maintenance, especially with CNC machines and welding equipment.
• Familiarity with chemical process lines and related auxiliary systems.
• Understanding of gear boxes, pumps, blowers, AC, and chiller systems.
• Ability to plan material needs and manage spare parts inventory.
• Basic computer proficiency for data handling.
