Maintenance Engineer – Bhiwandi

About the role

The Maintenance Engineer ensures maximum equipment reliability, availability and performance across all production and utility systems. You will execute preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance while supporting safety, quality and continuous‑improvement initiatives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and automation systems.
• Follow LOTO and permit‑to‑work procedures, ensuring compliance with safety standards (Mars Safety, GMP, HACCP, QMS).
• Troubleshoot equipment failures, restore production quickly and support root‑cause analysis (RCA) with corrective actions.
• Maintain equipment history and records in the CMMS, monitor performance and recommend reliability improvements.
• Participate in FMOS, CI projects and OEE improvement initiatives to reduce downtime.
• Coach operators on autonomous maintenance, basic troubleshooting and equipment care.

Required profile

• BTech/Diploma in Electrical, Communication or Instrumentation.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on maintenance experience in food, FMCG, pharmaceutical or similar scale manufacturing.
• Experience with packaging equipment, conveyors, motors, drives, PLCs, sensors and utilities preferred.
• Willingness to work in shifts.
