Machine Learning Analytics Manager (BFSI)

About the role

We are looking for a Machine Learning Analytics Manager (BFSI) to lead our data analytics team in Mumbai. The role combines leadership, strategy and hands‑on model development to help banking, financial services and insurance clients turn data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of data scientists, analysts and ML engineers.
• Define and execute a machine‑learning strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Oversee design, development and validation of supervised and unsupervised models, including regression, neural networks and decision trees.
• Perform exploratory data analysis on large BFSI datasets to uncover patterns and opportunities.
• Drive production‑grade deployment of models, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Apply ML techniques to credit risk, fraud detection and market‑risk assessments.
• Implement monitoring frameworks to track model performance and trigger recalibration.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, preferably in the BFSI sector.
• Proven track record of leading data‑analytics or ML teams.
• Strong understanding of banking, financial services or insurance business challenges.

Required skills

• Machine Learning model development (supervised & unsupervised).
• Data analysis and visualization.
• Model deployment and performance monitoring.
• Risk modeling (credit, fraud, market).
