Loss Prevention Associate

About the role

The Loss Prevention Associate is responsible for safeguarding the property, guests and assets by investigating incidents, handling complaints and ensuring a safe environment. This full‑time position works on‑site at the Ashram Marg location in Jaipur.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct investigations and gather evidence related to theft, fraud, lost items, noise, assault, food poisoning and other guest complaints.
• Interview relevant parties to obtain statements and information.
• Notify managers, supervisors, local police or other authorities when accidents, attacks or serious incidents occur.
• Complete detailed incident reports for theft, accidents, physical hazards and fire alarms.
• Handle business interruptions and complaints such as suspicious individuals, civil disturbances, noise, intoxication and demonstrations.
• Escort unwelcome persons from the property while maintaining operational flow.
• Defuse guest or employee disturbances, summon authorities when necessary and document the incident.
• Follow company safety and security policies, report accidents, injuries and unsafe conditions.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate service needs and communicate professionally.
• Enter and retrieve work‑related information using computers and point‑of‑sale systems.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lb unaided and up to 75 lb with assistance.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Physical capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull and navigate varied surfaces and confined spaces.
• Excellent verbal communication and clear written documentation skills.
• Commitment to confidentiality and adherence to security policies.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computers and point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
