Logistics Planning & Optimization

About the role

This position is responsible for driving logistics planning, cost optimisation, and operational excellence across the logistics network. The role focuses on improving performance, ensuring compliance, and supporting infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Planning & Strategy: Plant, VPC and RSY capacity planning, network optimisation, gap identification and mitigation.
• Cost & Commercial: Conduct logistics cost analysis, freight optimisation, review service contracts and investments, and evaluate business cases.
• Performance & Control: Monitor KPIs, SLAs, dispatch, turnaround time, dwell time, damage and inventory levels.
• Insurance & Risk: Manage transit insurance renewal, declarations, premium adjustments, claims management and reduction.
• Process & Projects: Ensure process compliance, maintain SAP/ERP controls, oversee logistics infrastructure, and lead system improvement projects.
• Management & Governance: Produce monthly KPI reports, contribute to business planning, participate in management reviews, and coordinate with plant, sales, finance and logistics partners.
