Logistics Manager (East Region)

About the role

We are looking for a Logistics Manager to lead supply chain operations for the East region. The role oversees warehousing, transportation and the movement of finished goods to warehouses and customers, ensuring timely and compliant delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day supply chain activities covering warehousing and transportation.
• Coordinate with planning, production, finance and sales teams to align forecasts, stock availability and order execution.
• Ensure compliance with statutory laws, excise rules and all SOPs in warehouse operations.
• Maintain optimal warehouse capacity, accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits.
• Monitor 3PL performance, track KPIs and implement corrective actions.
• Drive FIFO, FEFO and batch management, and oversee label registration processes.
• Supervise CAPEX movements, MHE maintenance and periodic depot visits.
• Lead key projects such as DRP rollout, Track & Trace implementation and initiatives to reduce transit breakages.
• Work with the Zonal SC Manager to improve transportation processes and monitor transporter performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing supply chain, warehousing and transportation functions.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with planning, production, finance and sales teams.
• Strong knowledge of statutory and excise compliance requirements.
• Experience monitoring 3PL and transporter performance against KPIs.
• Track record of delivering improvement projects (e.g., DRP, Track & Trace, FIFO/FEFO).
