Logistics Lead (E-commerce Domain)

About the role

As a Logistics Lead for the e‑commerce domain, you will design and build an end‑to‑end logistics and fulfilment network that supports marketplace growth across multiple cities. You will own relationships with logistics partners, optimise delivery economics, and drive continuous improvement of service level agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement dark‑store locations, hub‑and‑spoke models, and last‑mile delivery networks.
• Negotiate contracts and manage performance of 3PL, courier aggregators, and hyper‑local delivery partners.
• Monitor logistics KPIs such as on‑time delivery, damage rates, cost‑per‑shipment, and fill rate.
• Collaborate with Ops Tech lead to integrate logistics workflows into the platform.
• Develop reverse‑logistics and returns management processes.
• Scale the operations team as the business expands to new cities and clusters.

Required profile

• 7‑12 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or fulfilment operations, preferably in e‑commerce or quick‑commerce.
• Proven track record designing and operating dark stores, micro‑fulfilment centres, or regional distribution hubs in India.
• Deep understanding of last‑mile delivery economics, rider/fleet management, and routing optimisation in metro/Tier‑1 cities.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience using logistics and warehouse management systems, dashboards, and cost‑modelling.
• Extensive vendor management experience, including negotiation with 3PL and courier partners.
