Logistics Executive

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Logistics Executive to oversee day‑to‑day logistics operations, focusing on first‑mile and mid‑mile movements, vendor coordination, and import‑export shipments. The role will ensure timely and accurate movement of goods across our network of warehouses and transport partners.

Key responsibilities

• Manage first‑mile and mid‑mile logistics operations.
• Coordinate with vendors, transporters, and warehouses for vehicle placement and timely movement of goods.
• Create gate passes for stock transfers from the mother warehouse to other locations.
• Follow up with warehouses for GRN completion and gate‑pass closure.
• Maintain logistics trackers and prepare basic MIS reports.
• Process monthly transport invoices and manage logistics documents.
• Track shipment delays, short deliveries, damages, and quantity mismatches, escalating issues as needed.
• Monitor import and export shipments, including ETD, ETA, and required documentation.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs handling agents for smooth shipment movement.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics or operations.
• Strong communication, coordination and follow‑up abilities.
• Experience handling import‑export logistics and basic knowledge of freight forwarding and customs processes.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously.
• Problem‑solving mindset with a sense of ownership.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets.
• Understanding of freight forwarding processes.
• Knowledge of import‑export logistics procedures.
