Logistics Executive

About the role

The Logistics Executive will oversee end‑to‑end logistics operations, ensuring timely dispatch, accurate documentation, and compliance with GST and audit requirements. This role collaborates closely with warehouse, sales, procurement and finance teams to optimise transportation costs and improve customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Plan vehicle allocation and monitor inbound/outbound logistics to meet service level targets.
• Process transportation invoices, verify freight bills against contracts, and support cost‑saving initiatives.
• Generate E‑Way Bills, ensure GST compliance, and maintain audit‑ready records.
• Update transactions in SAP, maintain shipment, inventory and billing records with high data accuracy.
• Develop logistics dashboards, analyse transportation costs and delivery performance, and provide actionable insights.
• Coordinate with warehouse teams for material movement and with transporters to ensure on‑time loading and delivery.
• Address customer delivery concerns, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and drive improvements in operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics and warehouse operations.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong knowledge of logistics, transportation, inventory and supply‑chain processes.

Required skills

• SAP (transaction processing and reporting).
• Invoice processing and freight reconciliation.
• E‑Way Bill generation and GST compliance.
• Microsoft Office, advanced Excel, Power BI, MIS reporting and data analysis.
• Understanding of shipping documentation and vendor/transporter coordination.
