Logistics Executive

About the role

The Logistics Executive oversees daily shipment tracking, manages non‑delivery reports (NDR) and return‑to‑origin (RTO) cases, and works closely with courier partners to ensure timely deliveries and minimise failed shipments. The role acts as the bridge between internal teams and external carriers, keeping customers informed throughout the delivery cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Review and act on daily NDR reports, identify root causes and coordinate re‑delivery attempts.
• Validate and update incorrect delivery addresses with couriers and customers.
• Track and reduce RTO cases by analysing returns and implementing corrective actions.
• Follow up with courier partners on delayed, held or stuck shipments, escalating issues when necessary.
• Monitor in‑transit shipments, flag potential SLA breaches and maintain accurate shipment trackers.
• Collaborate with customer support, sales and warehouse teams to resolve delivery issues and provide status updates.
• Prepare daily and weekly reports on NDR, RTO, delays and courier performance, and recommend process improvements.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in logistics, courier operations, e‑commerce fulfilment or supply chain.
• Hands‑on experience with NDR management, address corrections and RTO handling.
• Familiarity with courier partner portals or dashboards and shipment tracking systems.
• Strong command of Excel or Google Sheets for reporting and basic analysis.
• Excellent follow‑up, coordination and communication abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; logistics or supply‑chain qualification is a plus.
