Logistics Executive

About the role

The Logistics Executive will oversee the end‑to‑end movement of goods, ensuring that inbound and outbound shipments are planned, coordinated and executed efficiently. This role acts as a central hub between suppliers, transport providers, warehouses and customers to guarantee timely deliveries and compliance with regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound shipments.
• Collaborate with suppliers, transporters, warehouses and customers to ensure on‑time deliveries.
• Prepare and maintain shipping documents, invoices, delivery notes and customs paperwork where required.
• Track shipments, resolve delays and address delivery issues.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards and transportation regulations.
• Negotiate freight rates and manage relationships with logistics service providers.
• Analyse logistics costs and propose cost‑saving initiatives.
• Maintain accurate logistics records and generate periodic reports.
• Coordinate with procurement, production, sales and warehouse teams for smooth operations.
• Handle customer inquiries related to shipments and delivery schedules.

Required profile

• Proven experience in planning and monitoring shipments.
• Strong ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders including suppliers, carriers and internal teams.
• Familiarity with shipping documentation, customs procedures and inventory management.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills to address transportation delays and delivery issues.
• Knowledge of freight rate negotiation and logistics cost analysis.
