Logistics Engineer

About the role

As a Logistics Engineer you will design, implement and sustain end‑to‑end logistics systems that guarantee safe, timely and cost‑effective material flow for multi‑model truck assembly, domestic parts, and CKD kit exports. You will own PFEP across models and markets, manage master data integrity and coordinate international shipping while driving continuous improvement to meet takt, mix and global OTIF targets.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain PFEP for every part and CKD component, governing dimensions, weight, pack size, storage, line‑feed method and export classification.
• Govern ERP, MES, WMS and TMS master data, ensuring traceability through barcode/RFID and error‑proofing (Poka‑yoke).
• Engineer milk‑run routes, pitch and load plans for mixed‑model production, balancing capacity, takt and aisle safety.
• Design returnable internal packaging and export‑grade crates, validating dunnage and load stability for heavy or awkward parts.
• Slot and consolidate warehouse inventory, implement fast‑lane picking, cycle counting and visual‑management damage controls.
• Partner with IT to build dashboards for OTIF, route adherence, inventory accuracy and export readiness, integrating WMS/TMS milestones such as ASN, VGM, SI/AMS filing and POD.

Required profile

• Proven experience in logistics or supply‑chain engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of multi‑model assembly, Heijunka leveling and ergonomics for point‑of‑use presentation.
• Ability to develop SOPs for receiving, decanting, supermarket replenishment and change‑over control.
• Commitment to safety, sustainability and continuous improvement.
