About the role
The Logistics Coordinator will manage end‑to‑end shipment planning and execution for MCC Logistics. You will act as the primary liaison between internal teams and external logistics service providers to ensure timely and cost‑effective deliveries.
Key responsibilities
- Review logistics requests and develop shipment execution plans.
- Release RFQs to identified Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) and compile bids.
- Finalize contracts and nominate selected LSPs.
- Coordinate with internal and external parties to ensure smooth shipment operations.
- Monitor shipments against agreed transit times and update status in the system.
- Review and process LSP invoices, resolving any payment queries promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipment stages in the logistics system.
- Track LSP performance and escalate issues or delays to senior management.
Required profile
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3 to 9 years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations.
