Logistics Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to manage and optimise end‑to‑end cargo connections, logistics networks and branch inventory. The role balances cost efficiency, regulatory compliance and smooth operational alignment with airline and vendor partners.

Key responsibilities

• Plan air connections in line with branch operations and client requirements.
• Coordinate with airline teams on flight schedules, load consolidation and documentation.
• Apply IATA guidelines for various shipment categories and provide surface‑connection solutions when needed.
• Work with vehicle vendors to deploy transport based on demand.
• Understand connection costing and its impact on overall logistics expenses.
• Manage consumable inventory (e.g., shipper boxes, temperature loggers), forecasting monthly needs and dispatching stock.
• Identify and negotiate with consumable vendors to secure appropriate products at competitive prices.
• Monitor inventory availability across branches and fulfil internal requests.

Required profile

• Graduate degree with 4–8 years of relevant logistics or supply‑chain experience.
• Familiarity with IATA regulations and cold‑chain operations (certifications advantageous).
• Strong analytical ability to assess connection costs and inventory requirements.
• Effective communication skills for coordination with airlines, vendors and internal teams.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IATA guidelines for air cargo.
• Experience with inventory forecasting and management.
• Understanding of cost analysis for logistics connections.
