Logistics Associate

About the role

We are looking for a Logistics Associate to manage our internal inventory of high‑value equipment used for data‑collection projects. The role involves handling cameras, SD cards, power banks and related accessories, ensuring they are correctly logged, tested and dispatched to field teams.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and verify equipment (cameras, SD cards, batteries) from field associates against daily allocation sheets.
• Prepare and issue deployment kits, including charging, testing and confirming device settings, storage capacity and battery health.
• Maintain accurate daily logistics logs and inventory records, capturing device codes and serial numbers.
• Enter physical paperwork into Excel trackers on the same day of receipt.
• Conduct weekly physical inventory reconciliation and report any variances immediately.
• Release SD cards for formatting only after the processing team confirms data upload completion.
• Track device faults, coordinate repairs/replacements and flag equipment shortfalls.
• Enforce logistics SOPs, monitor deviations and support spot deliveries or pickups as needed.
• Follow company data‑security and confidentiality policies for unprocessed media.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with high‑volume, high‑value items.

• Team‑oriented mindset with reliable record‑keeping habits.
• Comfort with occasional field movement while primarily working onsite.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry and inventory tracking.
