Lobby Ambassador

About the role

The Lobby Ambassador is the first point of contact for guests entering the hotel lobby. You will enhance the overall guest experience by promoting and facilitating access to all on‑site services such as restaurants, bars, front desk, business centre and lounge.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and acknowledge every guest according to brand standards, offering genuine appreciation.
• Inform guests about property amenities, local attractions, events and special activities.
• Coordinate guest requests for transportation, reservations, dry‑cleaning and other special services by liaising with the appropriate department or external provider.
• Assist guests with disabilities and respond promptly to unique or urgent needs, following up to ensure satisfaction.
• Contact relevant staff (bellperson, housekeeping, F&B server, etc.) to resolve guest calls, requests or problems.
• Report accidents, injuries or unsafe conditions to management and complete required safety training.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and uphold confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Adhere to quality‑assurance standards, company policies and procedural guidelines.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a guest‑facing hospitality role.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb.
• Strong communication skills and professional telephone etiquette.
