Live‑in Companion Housekeeper / Cook (Part‑time)

About the role

We are seeking a warm, capable live‑in Companion Housekeeper/Cook to support an active lady in her early 80s at her beautiful rural Cotswolds home. This part‑time position blends housekeeping, simple home cooking, occasional driving and friendly companionship, with a standalone cottage provided for the successful candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, tidy household, including laundry and general cleaning.
• Prepare simple, nutritious meals for the resident.
• Provide friendly companionship and occasional assistance with errands.
• Occasionally drive the resident to local appointments or shops.
• Ensure the cottage accommodation is kept in good order.

Required profile

• Kind, practical and self‑motivated individual who enjoys country life.
• Experience caring for or supporting elderly individuals is desirable.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Required skills

• Basic cooking skills for home meals.
• Housekeeping and cleaning proficiency.
• Valid driver’s licence for occasional driving.
