About the role
IMR Law Offices is looking for a Litigation Associate to join its Litigation & ADR team, reporting to Adv. Viqas Malik, Partner. The position is based in the Jawahar Nagar office in Srinagar and focuses on handling civil and commercial disputes as well as alternative dispute resolution matters.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis for ongoing cases.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court documents.
- Assist senior lawyers in case preparation and strategy development.
- Support ADR processes, including mediation and arbitration proceedings.
- Maintain accurate case files and manage documentation.
- Interact with clients to gather information and provide case updates.
- Attend court hearings and represent the firm as required.
Required profile
- At least 2 years of post‑qualification experience (PQE) or a fresh law graduate.
- Must be a resident of Srinagar.
- Strong legal research and drafting abilities.
- Demonstrated interest in litigation and ADR.
- Tech‑savvy and comfortable using digital legal tools.
