Linux Systems Administrator / Cloud Engineer

About the role

We are looking for experienced Linux Systems Administrators and Cloud Engineers to join a Technology Operations team. The role focuses on maintaining enterprise Linux environments, managing Google Cloud Platform infrastructure, and automating operational tasks to ensure reliability and security.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support enterprise Linux servers (RHEL, Oracle Linux, Ubuntu, Debian).
• Perform monthly patching, upgrades, and vulnerability remediation.
• Develop and maintain automation using Ansible and Bash (Python a plus).
• Troubleshoot OS, middleware, application, and networking issues.
• Manage and support cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure and Information Security teams for compliance.
• Build and configure infrastructure for new projects and proof‑of‑concept environments.
• Create technical documentation and share knowledge.
• Participate in production support, incident response, and on‑call rotations.

Required profile

• Strong operational mindset with experience supporting mission‑critical infrastructure.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced production environment.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Willingness to work IST hours and take part in on‑call support.

Required skills

• Linux system administration (RHEL, Oracle Linux, Ubuntu, Debian).
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Ansible configuration management.
• Bash scripting (Python preferred).
• Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
• VMware vSphere administration.
• Windows Server administration (preferred).
• AWS cloud exposure (preferred).
• Git / GitLab.
• Kubernetes or other container platforms (preferred).
