Linux System Administrator (Hyderabad)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Linux System Administrator to join our Hyderabad team. The role offers a clear career path to Associate Systems Lead and Systems Lead, with training on major cloud platforms and automation tools.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot RHEL/OEL (versions 6‑9) environments, including LVM, user management, performance tuning, clustering and high‑availability.
• Manage HP and Dell servers – OS patches, security updates, BIOS/firmware upgrades, and overall upkeep.
• Provide 24×7 rotational support for dedicated projects, both on‑premise and cloud‑based servers.
• Administer Linux servers using Red Hat Satellite for patch management.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and mitigation on Linux platforms.
• Work with OpenStack, OpenShift, and VMware where required.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of hands‑on Linux system administration experience.
• Minimum 4 years in a dedicated Linux administrator role.
• Strong knowledge of HP/Dell hardware, RAID concepts and BIOS/firmware handling.
• Willingness to work onsite, in a 24×7 rotational shift pattern.
• Ability to communicate effectively and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Experience supporting international customers is preferred.
