Line Cook

About the role

Tinge, a hospitality‑focused consultancy, is looking for a Line Cook to join its kitchen team in Hyderabad. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to exact specifications, ensuring consistent quality and presentation for every guest.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and break down workstation mise en place for each shift.
• Prepare menu items according to established recipes, portion standards, and plating guidelines.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and FSSAI (or equivalent) hygiene standards at all times.
• Coordinate with fellow kitchen staff during service to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with inventory rotation, basic prep work, and adherence to kitchen procedures.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and efficient throughout the shift.

Required profile

• Prior experience as a line cook, commis, or similar back‑of‑house role in a restaurant, café, or hotel kitchen.
• Availability for full‑time, on‑site work in Hyderabad, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Passion for cooking and hospitality; culinary diploma or formal training is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to follow recipes and standard operating procedures under high‑volume service.
