Licensed Electrician – 440V Lineman (Full‑Time)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Licensed Electrician / 440V Lineman to join Amit Engineering & Tech Service Pvt. Ltd. on a full‑time basis. The position supports electrical operations for motorised suspended platforms used in high‑rise civil repair, façade maintenance and structural rehabilitation across project sites in Jamshedpur, Odisha and other locations in India.

Key responsibilities

• Install, operate, inspect and maintain electrical systems up to 440 V and above.
• Carry out electrical installation, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of motorised suspended platforms.
• Perform cable laying, termination, panel wiring, motor connections and equipment installation.
• Inspect and maintain control panels, hoists, safety locks, limit switches and power supply systems.
• Diagnose electrical faults to minimise platform downtime.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, single‑line diagrams (SLDs) and wiring schematics.
• Ensure proper earthing, insulation and compliance with electrical safety regulations.
• Coordinate with civil, rope‑access and project teams during façade repair activities.
• Maintain inspection records, maintenance logs and daily work reports.
• Adhere strictly to HSE guidelines, PPE requirements and statutory safety standards.

Required profile

• ITI Electrician (NCVT/SCVT) or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Valid 440 V or above electrical license (Wireman/Supervisor) issued by the State Electrical Licensing Authority.
• Valid JNTVTI certificate.
• 3–5 years of experience in electrical maintenance of motorised suspended platforms, façade access systems or industrial electrical equipment.
• Willingness to travel and work at project sites across India.
