Legal Officer

About the role

Foxhog, a global venture capital firm, is seeking a full‑time Legal Officer to join its New Delhi office. The role involves providing legal consulting, drafting and reviewing documents, and ensuring compliance with relevant business and contract laws to support the firm’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and consulting to internal teams on a variety of business matters.
• Draft, review, and manage contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
• Identify legal risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Stay up‑to‑date with changes in business, contract, and general law relevant to the organization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) or equivalent; advanced degree or certification is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Business Law, Contract Law, and general legal principles.
• Previous experience handling legal matters in corporate or entrepreneurial environments is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, research, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
