About the role
We are seeking a Legal Manager to join a manufacturing client in Mumbai. The role involves providing comprehensive legal support, overseeing contract lifecycles, and managing litigation matters to protect the company’s interests.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts across the supply chain.
- Manage ongoing litigation, coordinate with external counsel, and oversee dispute resolution.
- Provide legal advice to business units on regulatory compliance and risk mitigation.
- Develop and maintain contract management processes and documentation.
- Monitor changes in legislation affecting manufacturing operations and advise accordingly.
Required profile
- Post‑qualification experience (PQE) of 5‑7 years in a legal role.
- Proven experience in contract management and litigation handling, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of Indian commercial and corporate law.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
