Legal Counsel

About the role

The Legal Counsel will provide comprehensive legal support across multiple business functions, ensuring that contracts, commercial activities, and strategic initiatives are legally sound and aligned with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and assess risk for contracts and commercial agreements.
• Offer legal advice on operational, commercial, and strategic matters.
• Oversee corporate governance and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations.
• Manage litigation, consumer disputes, and regulatory proceedings, coordinating with external counsel when needed.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify and address legal and compliance requirements.
• Administer the company’s intellectual property portfolio, working with external counsel and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Law graduate with 5–7 years of relevant experience, preferably with both law‑firm and in‑house exposure.
• Strong understanding of applicable laws, legal principles, and commercial practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
