Legal Counsel

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Legal Counsel to join the India hub of a US‑headquartered product company. You will act as the primary legal partner for commercial, product and corporate teams, drafting and negotiating agreements, identifying risks early and providing clear, practical advice that keeps the business moving.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate customer, vendor and partner agreements.
• Advise on data‑privacy, intellectual‑property and product‑licensing matters.
• Create and maintain contract templates, playbooks and standards.
• Partner with sales, product and finance on day‑to‑day legal queries.
• Identify legal and regulatory risks and propose workable solutions.

Required profile

• 4–8 years of post‑qualification experience in commercial or corporate law.
• LLB with enrolment as an advocate or equivalent qualification.
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation abilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Reliable remote‑work setup.
