Legal Counsel – Bangalore

About the role

Join lululemon's APAC Legal Team in Bangalore as a Legal Counsel. Reporting to the Senior Legal Counsel, India, you will provide comprehensive legal support across commercial, employment, and regulatory matters, helping the business operate confidently and compliantly.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and advise on a wide range of commercial agreements, including vendor, technology, lease, license and service contracts.
• Collaborate with Legal Operations to develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks and streamlined legal processes.
• Provide practical, risk‑based advice to business stakeholders on commercial, operational and strategic issues.
• Partner with People & Culture on employment law matters, workplace policies, employee relations, investigations and separations.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments in India (employment, commercial, corporate, privacy, consumer protection) and advise the business accordingly.
• Conduct legal research and deliver clear, actionable guidance.
• Manage relationships with external counsel, regulators and other advisors.
• Support strategic projects and ad‑hoc tasks as directed by senior legal leadership.

Required profile

• LL.B. degree from a recognized university and qualification to practice law in India.
• 4–7 years of post‑qualification experience, preferably in commercial contracting and employment law.
• Experience in the retail or consumer goods sector is an advantage.
