Legal & Compliance Executive – Customer Grievance

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Legal & Compliance Executive to lead the resolution of customer escalations that involve legal and regulatory issues. The role focuses on ensuring timely grievance redressal, handling legal notices, and maintaining strict compliance with RBI guidelines and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end customer escalations, legal notices, and regulatory complaints.
• Draft and review responses to legal notices, customer grievances, and communications from regulatory authorities.
• Ensure adherence to RBI regulations, Digital Lending Guidelines, Fair Practices Code, and company policies.
• Collaborate with Operations, Customer Support, Collections, Risk, and external counsel to investigate and resolve cases.
• Identify legal and compliance risks, conduct root‑cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain legal documentation, MIS reports, and support audits, inspections, and litigation matters.

Required profile

• LL.B. degree (mandatory).
• 2–5 years of experience in Legal & Compliance within an NBFC, FinTech, Banking, or Financial Services organization.
• Experience in customer grievance redressal, regulatory compliance, and legal drafting is preferred.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of RBI regulations, Consumer Protection Act, and Contract Law.
• Excellent legal drafting, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple escalations in a fast‑paced, regulated environment.
