Legal Associate

About the role

Singh Law Chambers LLP is seeking qualified Legal Associates to join its specialised practice teams in New Delhi. Candidates will work on corporate recovery, intellectual property litigation, data‑privacy compliance and dispute resolution matters, providing high‑quality legal advice to domestic and international clients.

Key responsibilities

• Research, draft, review and file legal documents for recovery, Section 138, Lok Adalat, Sarfaesi Act and Debt Recovery Tribunal matters.
• Represent clients in corporate/commercial disputes, arbitration, white‑collar criminal matters and IP infringement actions before various courts and tribunals.
• Advise on data‑privacy regulations including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, GDPR and related cross‑border data transfer issues.
• Conduct privacy impact assessments, draft privacy policies, consent notices, DPAs and vendor contracts.
• Coordinate case management, maintain client communications and collaborate with senior counsel, paralegals and external counsel.

Required profile

• Law graduate with a minimum of 3 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in the relevant practice area.
• Demonstrated experience in corporate recovery, IP litigation, data‑privacy compliance or dispute resolution as applicable.
• Strong analytical abilities, independent case handling and effective client interaction.

Required skills

• Legal research and drafting proficiency.
• Familiarity with Indian civil, criminal, corporate, IP and data‑privacy law.
• Ability to appear before courts, tribunals and regulatory bodies.
