Legal Associate (Hybrid, New Delhi)

About the role

ALFAJURIS is seeking a motivated Legal Associate to join its New Delhi team in a hybrid working arrangement. You will support senior lawyers by researching legal issues, drafting documents, and managing case files across corporate, commercial, and litigation matters.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and review case law, statutes, and regulations.
• Draft, vet, and proofread contracts, pleadings, notices, opinions, and other legal documents.
• Prepare briefs, internal notes, and client correspondence under supervision.
• Maintain organized case files, track deadlines, and coordinate hearings.
• Assist with due‑diligence, compliance tasks, and day‑to‑day matter management.

Required profile

• LLB or equivalent law degree from an accredited institution.
• Strong foundation in corporate, commercial, or litigation law.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines.
• Prior internship or work experience in a law firm, chamber, or in‑house legal team is a plus.

Required skills

• Legal document preparation (drafting, reviewing, formatting).
• Proficiency with legal research tools.
• MS Office suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Comfort using digital document management systems.
