Legal Analyst

About the role

Invesco’s Legal Team, operating across multiple regions, is seeking a Legal Analyst to support its investment fund operations. The role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of legal documents while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, analyse, review and negotiate software licences, SaaS/cloud agreements, commercial/vendor agreements, partner agreements, confidentiality/non‑disclosure and professional services agreements.
• Upload amendments and agreements to online document repositories and ensure proper tagging of master agreements.
• Respond to legal subpoenas, IRS summons, DOJ requests, grand‑jury subpoenas, restraining notices, LOIs and garnishment notices.
• Update fund disclosure documents, registration statements and tender offer materials for Retail and ETF funds on a quarterly basis.
• Conduct research on historic fund trades, balance holdings and prepare reports for class‑action or bankruptcy litigation.
• Assist in gathering and disclosing portfolio manager fund holdings and assets.
• Build board books, agendas and post‑board materials for fund boards.
• Partner with the derivatives legal team to create ISDA amendments, account control agreements and FX spot letters.

Required profile

• Law degree or equivalent legal qualification.
• Experience drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements.
• Familiarity with regulatory filings, fund disclosure updates and securities law matters.
• Ability to manage legal subpoenas and other enforcement requests.
• Strong research skills for litigation support and fund‑related investigations.
