About the role

The Queen's Business School (QBS) at Queen's University Belfast is hiring a Lecturer in Finance and Financial Analytics for its new campus in GIFT City, India. The successful candidate will join a vibrant academic community, contributing to both teaching and research activities that shape the future of finance education.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate modules in areas such as corporate finance, asset pricing, financial data analytics, trading, banking, financial modelling, derivatives, international finance and FinTech.
• Develop and lead original research projects, publish in high‑quality peer‑reviewed journals, and present findings at international conferences.
• Engage with industry partners and non‑academic stakeholders to enhance the relevance and impact of research.
• Participate in departmental service, curriculum development and academic governance.

Required profile

• Completed PhD (or near completion) in Finance, Financial Analytics or a closely related discipline.
• Established record of research activity and peer‑reviewed publications consistent with lecturer expectations.
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to teach finance‑related modules at university level.
• Commitment to advancing QBS’s teaching and research objectives.
