Learning Operations Manager

About the role

Applied Materials is looking for a Learning Operations Manager to join its HR Shared Services team in Bangalore. The role blends operations leadership, team management, and partnership with the Talent Development function to ensure learning programs run effectively at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end learning operations across regions, delivering consistent, high‑quality programs.
• Partner with Talent Development to translate learning plans into executable delivery schedules.
• Bring discipline and predictability to planning, scheduling and high‑volume delivery.
• Use data and reporting to generate insights for program governance and decision‑making.
• Own LMS operations, including course setup, learning paths and issue resolution.
• Manage vendors, financial processes, and multi‑country delivery while balancing global consistency with local needs.
• Develop and coach a team to become proactive, stakeholder‑aware and solution‑oriented.

Required profile

• 10–15 years of experience in learning operations, program management or shared services.
• Proven ability to manage and develop teams in fast‑paced, high‑volume environments.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, especially with COEs and cross‑functional partners.

Required skills

• Experience with Learning Management System (LMS) platforms.
• Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities.
