Lead Technology Analyst – SAP BASIS

About the role

As a Lead Technology Analyst for Airbus Aerostructures, you will own the design, maintenance and daily administration of the core SAP landscape. The role bridges business requirements with robust technical architecture to ensure high availability, stability and optimal performance of enterprise ERP platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Perform end‑to‑end SAP BASIS administration, including installations, upgrades, support packages (SPAM/SAINT), patches, fixes and add‑on deployments.
• Monitor system performance, analyse work processes, logs, short dumps and implement tuning to avoid downtime.
• Manage multi‑landscape environments: client administration, system copies, refreshes and transport lifecycle (Solution Manager ChaRM).
• Configure RFC destinations, partner profiles, ALE and manage inbound/outbound queues and background job scheduling.
• Handle security setups such as SSO, SAML integration and SSL certificate issuance/renewal in line with Airbus compliance.
• Drive automation initiatives for process definitions, service catalog and tooling maintenance.
• Support SAP systems on High Availability platforms, conduct root‑cause analysis and manage incidents via SDCCN and SAP Service connections.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and produce regular operational reports for European and international stakeholders.

Required profile

• Graduate degree with at least 9 years of hands‑on SAP BASIS experience in large‑scale enterprise landscapes.
• Proven ability to work proactively, analyse complex issues and implement preventive measures.
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers and cross‑functional teams across Europe and globally.
