Lead Strategic Sourcing

About the role

Lead the strategic sourcing function for IT hardware, software, telecom and related services at Lowe’s India. The role ensures timely procurement, contract management and purchase order processing while collaborating with business, legal, finance and vendor teams.

Key responsibilities

• Review purchase requisitions for accuracy and detailed requirements.
• Conduct sourcing activities, issue RFx, prepare comparative analyses and finalize vendors.
• Negotiate and draft contracts, ensuring legal compliance and clear scope of work.
• Create and issue purchase orders after approval, coordinate approvals and monitor deliveries.
• Facilitate reconciliation of deliveries, invoices and outstanding items.
• Drive continuous improvement in sourcing, contracting, purchasing and digitalisation initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in strategic sourcing or procurement of IT products and services.
• Strong understanding of legal terminology and contract drafting.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with business, legal, finance and vendor stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with focus on process optimisation and measurable improvements.
