Lead / Staff ML Scientist - NLP

About the role

We are looking for a Lead/Staff Machine Learning Scientist specialized in Natural Language Processing to design, build and train robust deep‑learning models that power Agara’s real‑time voice‑based conversations across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy state‑of‑the‑art NLU and NLG models for real‑world applications.
• Collaborate with a team of ML scientists and engineers to move prototypes into production.
• Conduct research, run experiments and contribute to publications and patents.
• Maintain and improve existing conversational AI pipelines.

Required profile

• B.Tech, M.Tech or Ph.D. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of hands‑on experience building deep‑learning systems for NLU/NLG tasks such as classification, language modeling or question answering.
• Strong track record of delivering production‑grade NLP solutions.
• Passion for innovation and pushing the state of the art.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Deep‑learning frameworks: PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Expertise in Natural Language Processing techniques.
