Lead Planner & Corporate Communications

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Planner & Corporate Communications to drive strategic communication planning and execution for TVS Motor Company’s corporate mandate. The role partners with HR, Finance, Legal, Strategy, IT/Digital, ESG, Operations and senior leadership to translate functional priorities and business updates into clear, consistent, and impactful messaging.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with corporate functions to build communication plans for key initiatives, policy updates, organisational announcements and transformation priorities.
• Develop and manage leadership communications, including CEO notes, speeches, presentations, talking points and briefing documents.
• Own the annual and quarterly communication planning calendar, ensuring timely prioritisation, sequencing and stakeholder alignment.
• Facilitate planning reviews, track actions, owners, timelines and communication readiness for major announcements.
• Review outputs for tone, narrative alignment, confidentiality and brand compliance.
• Prepare communication support for sensitive updates – key messages, FAQs, holding statements and stakeholder packs.
• Generate communication intelligence through summaries, campaign learnings, stakeholder feedback and leadership dashboards.
• Coordinate with PR agencies, content partners and internal creative teams for high‑quality deliverables.
• Support leadership visibility through internal platforms, external forums, authored content and strategic engagements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, English Literature, Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
• Post‑graduate degree or MBA in Communications, Marketing or Business Administration preferred.
• 7–10 years of experience in corporate communications, leadership or executive communications.
• Relevant certifications (Strategic Communications, Internal Communications, Change Communication, Brand Management, ESG or Digital Communication) are a plus.
