About the role

The Lead Finance Controller will oversee the full spectrum of financial planning, reporting, and compliance activities. This senior position requires a strong background in accounting, budgeting, and regulatory reporting to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Prepare and publish monthly financial statements on schedule.
• Lead regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with technical accounting issues.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes, maintaining quality control over all financial transactions.
• Manage local, state, and federal reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.
• Perform additional controller duties as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or Auditor in a Big 4 environment.
• 6+ years of combined accounting and finance experience.
• Advanced degree in Accounting; CA designation preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency with accounting software and its administration.
• Expertise in general ledger functions and month‑end/year‑end close processes.
• Experience creating financial statements and handling regulatory reporting.
