Lead Engineer – System Integration Tests

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Engineer to drive system integration testing for Airbus products in Bangalore. The role ensures safe, reliable operation of avionics features across sub‑system, system and aircraft levels using ground‑based rigs and flight data analysis. You will lead a team, shape testing strategy and introduce innovative validation techniques.

Key responsibilities

• Build, mentor and lead a high‑performing team of flight control engineers.
• Define and manage testing project lifecycles, resources and schedules to meet program milestones.
• Serve as primary contact for stakeholders, communicating progress, risks and insights.
• Design and oversee system testing methods, write procedures, execute tests, record data and classify defects.
• Perform real‑time analysis of flight test data, produce comprehensive flight test reports.
• Drive automation, virtual testing and big‑data analysis to improve test efficiency.
• Review and validate design documents such as SDD, SID and ICD.

Required profile

• B.Tech or M.Tech in Electronics/Avionics or equivalent.
• 8‑12 years of experience in avionics systems verification & validation or development.
• Deep knowledge of avionics systems engineering, flight management and flight controls.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strong project management skills with a track record of meeting strict deadlines.
