Lead Engineer – Dry Utilities

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Engineer – Dry Utilities (Infrastructure) to join our Energy team in India. This role offers the chance to work on impactful energy projects across global offices while developing technical expertise in a supportive, high‑performing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform specific portions of broader engineering assignments, gathering and correlating basic engineering data using established procedures.
• Conduct detailed calculations, simple tests, and propose solutions for new problems by adapting standard methods.
• Identify discrepancies in results and provide guidance to entry‑level engineers.
• Deliver primary design elements for engineering works within agreed budget and schedule with minimal supervision.

Required profile

• B.Tech or Master of Engineering (or equivalent) in an appropriate engineering discipline.
• 5–10 years of experience, preferably with exposure to projects outside India (Middle East, UK, USA, Canada, ANZ).
• Experience in preparation, review and production of Electrical (EHV, HV, MV, LV), street lighting, telecom, ELV, ICT network, pump stations, water‑treatment plants, EV charging stations, substations, and power transmission & distribution networks.

Required skills

• Electrical design (EHV, HV, MV, LV)
• Street lighting and high‑mast area lighting calculations
• Cable sizing, voltage‑drop, earthing, fault‑level and corridor sizing analysis
• Software: Dialux, AGI, Lighting Reality, Amtech, ETAP
