Lead Design Architect – Mixed‑Use Real Estate

About the role

The Lead Design Architect will head the architectural design of hospitality‑led mixed‑use developments, business parks and retail projects for Adani Airport City’s airport‑city portfolio across several Indian cities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the full design cycle from concept through construction for mixed‑use, hospitality and retail projects.
• Collaborate with internal teams, consultants and external stakeholders to translate program requirements into innovative design solutions.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulatory standards and sustainability guidelines.
• Mentor and supervise junior architects, fostering a high‑performing design team.
• Conduct regular site visits, monitor progress and resolve design‑related issues.
• Drive continuous improvement of design processes and methodologies.

Required profile

• 15‑18 years of experience in architectural design for real‑estate, mixed‑use and hospitality projects.
• Proven track record of delivering projects from concept to on‑site completion.
• Bachelor of Architecture from a recognized institution (preferably CEPT University or School of Planning & Architecture).

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and SketchUp.
• Strong knowledge of building materials, construction techniques and sustainable design practices.
• Demonstrated ability to develop architectural concepts for hospitality‑led developments.
