Lead - Accounts Receivable

About the role

Lead the Accounts Receivable function for Sandvik Coromant in Pune, overseeing collections, reporting, credit control and statutory compliance. The role combines operational execution with team leadership and cross‑functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Support business on customer credit matters, set credit limits and payment terms.
• Monitor and enforce credit policy, evaluate credit risks and propose mitigation.
• Manage customer overdues, claims and disputes to ensure timely resolution.
• Process inbound payments, reconcile accounts and liaise with customers to secure payments.
• Improve net working capital by monitoring DSO and reviewing credit holds.
• Coordinate inter‑company and export reconciliations, ensuring compliance with RBI regulations.
• Lead AR process improvements, policy development and authorization matrices.
• Oversee financial audits, query resolution and support Business Analytics and Country Finance.
• Manage and develop the AR team, set objectives and conduct performance reviews.
• Handle TCS compliance, TDS reconciliation and foreign currency exposure calculations.

Required profile

• 8+ years of finance experience with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Proven ability to drive projects and change across an organization.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks such as FEMA.
