About the role
The Clinical Laboratories at Golden Jubilee National Hospital are seeking an IT Support Analyst to become the first point of contact for laboratory system users. You will help maintain, develop, test and implement IT solutions that keep the laboratory service running efficiently.
Key responsibilities
- Provide first‑line support for laboratory applications and respond to user enquiries.
- Assist with the maintenance, testing and rollout of new and existing laboratory IT systems.
- Develop and document technical solutions to resolve incidents with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate with primary‑care IT teams and clinical order communication systems where required.
- Contribute to quality‑assurance activities and ensure compliance with testing standards.
Required profile
- Experience in a laboratory or clinical IT environment is desirable.
- Ability to work logically and structure problem‑solving approaches.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with internal laboratory staff.
- Self‑motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
