L1 Desktop Support Engineer – Onsite Dispatch

About the role

We are seeking an L1 Desktop Support Engineer to provide on‑site, dispatch‑based assistance to end‑users in Hyderabad. The role combines hands‑on troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, mobile devices and office infrastructure with asset management and project support.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑site support for Windows, macOS, Linux computers, mobile devices, printers and peripherals.
• Provision, deploy, replace and de‑commission IT equipment according to lifecycle policies.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity and user issues, escalating to Level 2 when needed.
• Maintain office IT services such as network connectivity, printing, voice, AV and smart‑office solutions.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot switches, routers, access points and related networking gear.
• Conduct inventory audits, manage asset records and coordinate warranty repairs, redeployments and disposals.
• Support office moves, hardware refreshes, equipment relocations and technology deployments for business events.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with clear documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with remote support teams and third‑party vendors.
• Basic networking knowledge (LAN, Wi‑Fi, switches, routers, access points).
