Kitchen Hand – Full‑time Hospitality Role

About the role

Join the vibrant team behind Queenstown’s iconic food venues. As a Kitchen Hand you will support chefs and front‑of‑house staff in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize all kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Handle, sort, store and distribute food items according to the Food Control Plan.
• Perform basic food preparation under supervision.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe kitchen workspace.
• Assist with stock management and inventory control.

Required profile

• Available to work a rotating roster covering mornings, afternoons and evenings.
• Full‑time availability (40‑45 hours per week).
• Physically fit – able to stand all day and lift large quantities of food.
• Positive, can‑do attitude and ability to thrive in a high‑energy environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to follow written procedures such as the Food Control Plan.
