Kindergarten Teacher

About the role

Jagadeesh International Play School is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Kindergarten Teacher for its Thiruporur campus. You will plan and deliver age‑appropriate lessons that foster early literacy, numeracy, social interaction and creative development in a play‑based, child‑centered environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily and weekly lesson plans aligned with early childhood curriculum.
• Facilitate engaging classroom activities using play‑based teaching methods.
• Monitor and document each child’s progress and learning outcomes.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children’s development and needs.
• Collaborate with school leadership and colleagues on events, assessments, and continuous improvement of teaching practices.

Required profile

• Full‑time availability for on‑site teaching in Thiruporur.
• Ability to plan and deliver age‑appropriate, play‑based lessons.
• Strong observation and documentation skills to track child progress.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and inclusive classroom.
• Effective communication with parents and team members.
