Key Account Manager

About the role

The Key Account Manager will own acquisition and engagement of independent, single‑outlet restaurants in Bangalore for Swiggy Assure, a B2B supply platform for kitchen essentials. You will act as the primary touchpoint, learning each partner’s business, diagnosing challenges, and helping them grow orders, visibility and customer engagement through a consultative, on‑field approach.

Key responsibilities

• Own a defined geographic territory and build strong relationships with assigned restaurant partners.
• Conduct 80‑90 in‑person visits per month, delivering product demos, ROI analysis and partnership presentations.
• Use consultative selling to diagnose needs, position Swiggy’s solutions and negotiate activation.
• Manage the full lifecycle each month – pitching, negotiation, activation and ongoing support.
• Track adoption metrics, troubleshoot issues and adjust strategies based on data‑driven insights.
• Own revenue targets, maintain a personal pipeline and monitor conversion rates.
• Maintain advanced Excel/Google Sheets trackers and create dashboards for performance reporting.
• Stay updated on restaurant trends, competitive landscape and feed field insights back to product teams.

Required profile

• 2+ years of B2B, field sales or business development experience, preferably in FMCG, food & beverage or hospitality.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing an independent pipeline.
• Comfort with round‑the‑clock restaurant operations and willingness to take ownership of partner growth.
• Post‑graduation degree, preferably in marketing or sales.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, dashboard creation).
• Google Sheets proficiency.
